Over the past 12 months, Web Age has run several Data Engineering upskilling programs in a live virtual instructor-led format, over a 3 week time period. When our client, a large insurance company, approached us to deliver this program again, they wanted to replace the instructor-led lectures with their eLearning library, so we had to get creative. Even though there was plenty of upfront planning, we had to improvise a fair amount during the program. In this discussion, we’ll capture the lessons learned in making that delivery successful.
• Criteria to curate the right eLearning content to substitute for instructor-led delivery
• Support required for students to complete the labs and the projects successfully
• Coordination required between the client’s training department and the upskilling partner, to make the program successful
